Patrick Lochwood
Patrick Lochwood is an independent insurance agent and owner of the Stonewell Insurance Agency, LLC, Bemidji. With twenty years of experience in human services and retail management, he became a licensed insurance agent in 2005, specializing in Medicare Health Plans, Medicare Prescription Drug Plans, Life insurance, and Long-Term Care insurance options.
Patrick recognizes the great level of confusion surrounding insurance. His goal as an insurance agent is to provide a service-based experience by listening to the clients so as to understand their needs, to help clients know the variety of insurance options available, and then to assist clients in selecting insurance products that are suitable to meet those needs.
Patrick holds a B.S. degree in Paralegal Studies, specializing in Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. He has volunteered with the Office of Ombudsman for Long-term Care and the Minnesota Board on Aging. He has taught through Bemidji Community Education and has been an adjunct instructor of social work at Bemidji State University. Patrick is the recipient of the 2003 PFUND Community Service Award and the Northwest Minnesota Foundation’s 2005 Individual Excellence in an Organization Award. He has served on the Boards of Directors of Community Resource Connections and Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. He is a contributing member of Minnesota Public Radio, Northern Community Radio, Lakeland Public Television, Harmony Food Co-op, the Watermark Art Center, the Walker Art Center, and the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
